Sorry for the multi-hour outage that started around 10:15 PM EDT last night (May 1). It turns out that there is a nasty race condition in Drupal's poormanscron module that, given the right circumstances, can cause the server load to spiral out of control. Not good.

I'm done with my testing and eliminating the problem, so I've brought the site back up proper.
